footprints in the snow..

how many times do we go through our life and miss what God is putting in front of us or we look past it without even giving it an extra thought?. He knows exactly what it is you need at the exact moment you need it, He's placed specific things in front of you to give you joy and happiness and yet we try to run from them,why? He knows how much we can handle at the exact time we can handle it, why is it so hard for us to receive it from Him? a few nights ago i went for a walk as it was snowing it was so quiet and peaceful. as i was walking this analogy came to me (i like analogies) picture the world as a fresh layer of snow that has been completely untouched and you have the opportunity to leave an impression, your own unique mark on the world. you can choose to leave whatever kind of mark you want! you have an opportunity to impact the people around you, because the thing about snow is wherever you step other people can always track you and they may even follow you. so what kind of impression do you want to leave for others to follow? is it the one God has already chosen for you to follow, or will you try to make your own path?.
